The Lift & Slide system is the most advanced sliding door
system on todays market. This system was developed by Panda as
the result of market demand for doors that fit large openings
without any dividers or fixed units. This system was program
developed for maximum function, security and air tightness. You
can order this system in any size according to the technical
limitations. The Lift & Slide offers the option of a pocket that
will hide the active doors inside the walls that will produce a
very large opening. This system is movable in a panoramic shape
as well, by bending glass that matches the construction radios.
It has be be symmetric for a very smooth sliding door.
Accessories For the Lift & Slide system, special accessories
produced by the German Company G-U, have been developed. Using
very sophisticated mechanisms allows us to have up to 550 lbs.
max. per sliding unit. By using closed wheels with ball bearings
and modern aluminum profiles we can reach sizes that no one has
ever seen possible before in the sliding door industry. The
handles were also developed by the German Company G-U which
allows you to open and close the door in the most convenient and
easy way. By Turning the door handle the wheels raise and the
active door moves easily and smoothly.
When you lock the door, the weight of the active door stays
on the floor and the wheels are up. This makes it very
difficult, nearly impossible to open the door. The door locks on
both sides, which affords you safety and security. These locks
are very difficult to open. The rubber material used is made of
EPDM that fit the strict German rollers used. It has been
specially developed for this system to offer the greatest air
tight seal possible and to be efficient for many years in all
weather conditions.
Glazing is a system that allows us to use 1/8" up to 1 1/2"
width of glass with different options of dimensions like:
- Single Tract Width 3-1/8 (MM.)
- 2 Track Widths 7-1/16 (MM.)
- 3 Track Widths 10-19/64 (MM.)
- 4 Track Widths 13-33/64 (MM.)
These are the most used measurements. Being a very flexible
system it is possible to build even 5-10 Track Widths according
to the dimensions.
