The Panda 9000 Series sliding door is made with the same high
quality as its brother the Lift and Slide. How do you want your
sliding door? Straight line configured, Panoramic, ten feet
tall, 30 feet wide, in a pocket or not in a pocket, 45 or 90
degree corners. This is the most versatile sliding door made.
The 9000 Series Slider is the most up to date of its kind on the
market. Planned to be supplied as a "finished product", all the
components have been designed for maximum functionality,
durability and easy assembly.
Sections The profiles are made of extruded aluminum. The
frame dimensions may be assembled onto other window frames or
fixed frames. The exclusive design and rounded shapes not only
give the windows and attractive and personalized look but
guarantee a better seal in the exterior finishes making them
less likely to be damaged during transport and assembly.
Accessories These are all designed for specific use on this
system of sliding door. Squared parts are the same for both the
frame and the doors. The carriage, with 2 - 4 1/2" wheels are
adjustable with ball bearings that can hold up to 440lbs per
door.
Gaskets The seal is guaranteed by double brush strips
inserted along the entire perimeter of the doors. The guides
have a specific design which gives the brush a perfect
supporting base in the thrust of the wind. The door surmount is
made using profiles which hook onto eachother closing onto
tubular strips which compensate for any plays and dilation.
Running All the carriages have 4 1/2" wheels with ball
bearings and the specific profiles in the anodized aluminum
which cover the guides allow an easy and silent slide even with
heavy weights.
Glazing The normal system may accept thicknesses of 1/8"-1"
(channel 1 1/8")
Dimensions The 2-way frame has a base of 3 3/4", the 3-way
has a 5 5/8". The strength of the system and accessories allows
the construction of large doors.
Weight The weight of the system, excluding glass, is up to
4lbs. per sq.. ft..
